Carl Jung had an unparalleled depth of understanding, not only of his own psychology but of each of the highly differentiated psychological functions and attitudes that he discerned and described. Human beings approach one another in verbal communication. The difficulties that interrupt our patterns of communication are quickly forgotten. But if we understood how to bridge these difficulties, life in this realm might be something wonderful.

Carl Jung’s science begins with the proposition that all of the different principal psychological capacities are governed by different “psychologies”. It requires a little time and conscious effort to see who each of the “almost innate” principal capacities reflects its own psychology. But with this, we now widen our own perspective to see areas that were preiously left to our peripheral vision.

In the public square we are usually expected to ignore differences in psychology and follow a common pattern of communication to get our point across or get the job done. But there is a significant advantage once we discover not only the basis for one’s own individual psychology, but how the different psychologies are founded and how each is augmented by other capacities.

Understanding one’s own psychology is our most valuable experience and opens to deeper capacities, elevated transcendent capacities, and recognition of gradients where psychic energy readily is able to flow.
